I've been searching for Gawkers advertisers?
It looks like Gawker shows their advertisers on their own page.
On their page they show their advertisers to be
American Express, Chelsea Art Museum, Crunch, Hotflops, MINI, Mother on Fire, Sobieski, Starwood Hotels, Stolichnaya, T-Mobile, Unscrew America, and Sony VAIO.
American Express, Chelsea Art Museum, Choke (Fox Searchlight), Cringe (Crown Publishing), Hotflops, How to Lose Friends and Alienate People (Paramount), Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency, MINI, New Kids on the Block, Sobieski, Starwood Hotels, Stolichnaya, T-Mobile, and Unscrew America. They're the best! You should advertise too!
These people are scum.
American Express sponsors Gawker?
Let’s let them know how we feel about illegal hacking into a personal e-mail account.
The most prominent appear to be T-mobile and American Express
I see TiVo on the list as well..
They aren’t the “hackers”, but took full advantage of the information the “hackers” got.
I sent them a nice message about how I hope they enjoy the fist in the bootey of the Secret Service.
I know they won’t post it, but maybe someone will read it and it will creep a little reality into their day. These people are so deranged in their hatred of all things Republican, they forgot about laws and such.
I’m dissapointed in my favorite scientists who is on the attack about “Anti-Science McCain” because he called the planetarium Barack funded by $3,000,000 (who the CEO’s of the planetarium contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to Obama) foolishness. I sent my friend (the scientist) an email and asked him if he liked his politicians selling earmarks, because that is essentially what Obama does and did in this case.
Wish I could boycott them but we don’t do business with any of them.
Exactly.
If the hackers didn’t have a place to publish it they never would have done it.
It’s like Pakistan hiding Al-Queda. They provide them a place for their sick work.
I don’t do business with any of them I believe.. but will be looking over all the names just to make sure.
And just because I don’t do business with them doesn’t stop me from making a call to the advertisers.
I may know someone who does business with them. If a few prominent advertisers drop off.. this site may go down faster than MSNBC.
I just took my first look at Gawker. They seem really in-you-face defiant and unapologetic for the moment.
Let us see how long the ‘tude lasts with the $hitstorm about to break on them.
Yep!
When the Department of Justice starts sending out subpoenas let’s see how unapologetic they are.
And let’s see how long American Express wants to continue to sponsor this drivel.

I gather they didn’t have a lawyer on staff or retainer.
Well, probably by the end of business they’ll have a few.
Looks like Tivo is also in on sponsoring this.
TiVo Inc. (TIVO)

Looks like AT&T and E! also pay these scumsuckers at Gawker.
American Express, Arkadium, AT&T, City of Thieves, E!, Fuerzabruta, Glyde, Honda Fit, Jet Blue, The MANual, MGM Grand Foxwoods, Nikon Coolpix, Style-Card.com, Unscrew America. You should maybe consider advertising on Gawker too!
Very true. They won't be very happy when the feds show up and confiscate all of their hardware for evidence. They better be making backups, like hours ago....
ping
American Express, Tivo, AT&T, T-Mobile......
The Avertisers could end up taking a big hit from this.
If we got this list to Rush, Hannity, etc.
So are those the people who hacked into Sarah Palin’s email account?
I see gawker still has screen caps up of Gov. Palin’s personal e-mail accounts. Just hosting these images could very well be a criminal offense.
I hope everyone involved in this is prosecuted to the full extent of the law, I don’t care if it’s the hackers themselves, the administrators of gawker, or even the DUmmies posting these screen caps.
And when they are in prison, their lives and colons ruined, they will know that it was all for naught—they got nothing on her and that she is Vice President, soon to be President, because, in part, of their ridiculous stunts to tear down and demoralize a decent, strong person.
They sponsor Gawker.
Which is hosting the results of the hack.
