Smith,

Yes,the interview was captivating....I sat mesmerized..

We're seeing an unbelievable transposition in this country of the political scene..

It's time to usher out the Obamas, Durbins, Clintons and the rest that are totally out of touch with the America..

This is not racist...I think that people like Condi Rice...and J. C. Watts actually can do more for minorities than the Jessie Jackson's and Obamas..of this country....

I think we are witnessing something wonderful... as in 2001 Space Odyssey

Maybe this is one of those "back to the future" moments, since we are seeing, in the persons of Todd and Sarah Palin, the "pioneering spirit" that was once so dominant in our nation, and actually appreciated and celebrated.

Todd is a man's man who tackles his world with his head AND his hands, and not some metro-sexual who sits in some high-rise office manipulating words (like the MSM), or people (like the Beltway elite). And Sarah is a wife who truly does "stand by her man", but is not afraid to be her own woman and excel at what she sets her mind to. And it drives the MSM and the politicians nuts because she cannot be cast into the Betty Crocker homemaker mold, nor the flaming femi-nazi one.

And on top of all this, they delight in their love for each other, for their children, their nation--and their God!

How dare they be so--so--American!

Your post was just wonderful.
I think America is tired of the old crowd and will elect Sarah Palin just for the reasons you explained. Go Sarah!

If Sarah Palin picks a minority for VP (when’s she’s nominated for the Presidency) - game, set, match for the Rats.

“This is not racist...I think that people like Condi Rice...and J. C. Watts actually can do more for minorities...”

I’ve been watching (and then missing) J. C. Watts for several years. He was always my hope for a great presidential candidate of color. Then along came Condi and the ticket was locked up.
Too bad they’re both too smart to get dirty in the current arena of slime politics. They would do more than just be good for the minorities. They’d be good for the country.

I’ll lay money though, that the very same foreigners touting nobama’s praise, would not do so for conservative black candidates.
