I was hoping that Ned Yost would be fired at noon today. He wasn’t and the Brewer tailspin will continue...Ned Yost’s Brewers refining the art of the second half collapse!

The Giants are gunning for second place! :-)
In other news, I’m LOVING watching Tim Lincecum pitch this season - 17-3, just threw a CG shutout, and leads in shutouts and ERA.
And Pablo Sandoval is a BUNCH of fun to watch.

Love the Dodgers and I'm rooting for them to win the division and make it into the playoffs.
But my team:

Go Halos!

Cubs-Astros drew more than 23,000 with less than 24 hours notice. It’s better than playing in an empty Tropicana Field.
It wasn’t really fair to the Astros, but they got the ticket revenue.
As for the Brewers — Their next promotion will be a Dr. Henry Heimlich bobblehead.

As a Yankees fan, I'll have to give the Red Sox a bit of a ribbing by using their typical response to 2nd half baseball: "Next year is our year!" (That said - they have looked pitiful this year...)

It’s been a tough season for the Braves.

Carlos Zambrano's no-hitter yesterday in Milwaukee was reported as the first ever no-hitter pitched at a neutral location.
Like how many games in MLB history have been played at neutral locations?
