Hey! Out on Drudge they have a story link Obama Blames Wall St. Crisis on Republican Policies, but...guess what???

Here is a Jennifer Rubin article in Reason that reports the facts of Faniie Mae and Freddie Mac lobbying and you won't believe who the top two recipients of the lobbying money are: Senate Banking Committee Chairman Chris Dodd (D-CT) and...wait for it...none other than Barack Obama (D-IL)! And Obama was only on the committee for 3 years yet he was already #2 on the money list...

So, Senator...what was that again about 'change' and 'standing up against the Washington special interests'??? Hmmmm??? ;-))

(McCain got money from them, too, but only 1/6 of what Nobama got and after being in Washington 20 years longer...how does a first-tirm senator get so much lobbyist swag so fast? He EARNS it....hehehehe...;-))

But, you say, maybe all the Fannie and Freddie employees who gave money just “liked” Obama. That might make sense with ordinary institutions. But these two had a game plan to influence and sway lawmakers for the purpose of keeping them on the government gravy train and out of the regulatory line of fire. ...

So it would appear that this is precisely what Obama has been railing against: Washington insiders lining the pockets of other Washington insiders while the taxpayers ultimately have to foot the bill. The Agent of Change, it seems, didn’t exactly walk the walk on this one.

Good catch. We need to bring this out more and more and emphatically.

Sarah was on fire this AM.
