The left is deluded into thinking that the ‘Evil Rich’ are the power behind the scenes. They also are terrified that technology, population growth, and prosperity will destroy the fragile planet. That was my attitude when I was a rat. I hated seeing more roads built. I resented hearing jets overhead. I thought that nature was going to get paved under. When I saw Soilent Green, it ‘confirmed’ all my fears. [But I feel much better now.]

They can't say "drill" cuz it would help the economy and the middle class. To continue the mantra about the middle class, the middle class must continue to struggle.

I they won't drill, the economy is their fault and it's why everything costs more.
