Dang, oops, sorry.

I great apologize if I have offended anyone.

Please forgive my ignorance.

Down Syndrome, I won’t make that mistake again.

great = greatly

I’m not sure if my brain can keep up with my typing or it’s the other way around.

I think I just have a bad editor, just like the MSM.

As long as we’re picking nits, it’s generally considered better to refer to a child with a medical condition as a child with a medical condition, with the emphasis on “child” rather than the condition. So it would be “a child with Down Syndrome’, as opposed to “a Down Syndrome child”.

Neither this word arrangement nor the possessive on the word “Down” are something anyone should get concerned about-nobody should be that over-sensitive, but it’s considered more polite to say it that way.

Your OK, don’t let some people get you down.

Hey, I wasn’t offended because I don’t give a tinkers damn if the:Petty Nitpickers, Perpetual Grouches and those who are Habitually Offended have their feelings hurt.

Petty Nitpicker: to find fault, often unjustifiably, with insignificant details of something.

Perpetual Grouches: people who are habitually bad-tempered or complaining.

Habitually Offended: those people who will not sleep at night until at least one person has hurt their feelings.

For some reason many of the FReepers are out of sorts today.

For the women take A Midol and for the men take A FIFTH and get the heck out of the house.

GOOD POST!!!!!!!!!

BTW, does anybody know why Palin even had amniocentesis? She’s opposed to abortion under virtually all circumstances and the procedure itself carries some risk of harm to the baby, so why do it?
