The tactic by the left is to throw it all out there to see if anything sticks. I’m trying to figure out the October surprise we all know will be forthcoming.

I’m wondering if the National Enquirer will try to revamp their Palin affair story again.

The McCain camp forcefully and quickly issued the following statement:

“The smearing of the Palin family must end,” said senior adviser Steve Schmidt. “The allegations contained on the cover of the National Enquirer insinuating that Governor Palin had an extramarital affair are categorically false. It is a vicious lie...The efforts of the media and tabloids to destroy this fine and accomplished public servant are a disgrace. The American people will reject it...legal action will be considered with regard to this disgraceful smear.”

The Enquirer issued a statement only stating incredible allegations...they didn’t state proof, just mentioned allegations. They certainly seemed to back down with the mention of legal action.

Clintonite Ben Altman owns the Enquirer.

Yes indeed that is the liberal M.O. Throw it out there, see what sticks, and if you say it enough times, people will believe it. Weak minded liberal drones at least. Even this accusation is amazing because they’re saying that Palin is unfit to be Veep by accusing her of doing what Clinton did dozens of times, and they then said it was irrelevant because it was “just sex” and had nothing to do with the execution of the office or the safety of the nation. So even if she did have an affair on her husband, the Democrats said for over a decade now that it’s just sex and not important. Well which is it? Does an extramarital affair mean someone isn’t fit to be President/VP, or is it just sex and nothing to do with it being fit for office. They can’t have it both ways. And it’s not beside the point they have no evidence, no names, just the accusation. Beyond that, let’s be frank. Now I’ve never been attracted to any mail, but really, look at and learn about Todd Palin; when you have Prime Rib at home, who goes out for ground chuck??? It’s one thing seeing Clinton cheat considering what he had chained up at home, but Sarah Palin cheat on a man like Todd Palin? Ahah. **chuckle** Yeah. Right. Sure. :)
