What Obama saw is that his slow (thinking) crowd simply didn’t get that he was trying to soften his attacks on Palin and play nice and at like a grown-up acts. They continued to boo over his clear attempts to act like a normal adult, so he had to throw them some read meat to get them to lighten up.
Sorry, Mr. Obama, that that’s the slow crowd you’ve spent the last year or so sucking up to. Guess you’ll have to pass some talking points around to them to get them to act differently.
He is not very articulate:

He says that words mean something, but I don’t think he knows very many words.
Palin is a mother, governor, moose shooter who can take that moose cook it up make a rug out of the skins and hang the rack in the den - while I might add look damn good the whole time.
