The irony is thick. Hillary - presumptive nominee/President greases the skids for someone none of us knew 8 days ago. Obama loses because he doesn’t choose the obvious candidate who will sweep him into the Presidency (Hillary-woman) while McCain stumbles into the best woman candidate of the century which will take the election from Obama. Liberal Hillary greased the skids for Conservative Sarah. In the anti-Bush atmosphere and little woman from Alaska secures the election by being more Bush than Bush and being more McCain than McCain maverick, for McCain who was, in the not-too-distant past, was almost counted out. I love this kind of irony.
