This just in from Barack Obama himself (email)

From: info@barackobama.com(Barack Obama) Date: Thu, Sep 4, 2008, 8:36pm (PDT+3) To: DELETED BY ME Subject: The attacks King Vanity

Why would the Republicans spend a whole night of their convention attacking ordinary people? With the nation watching, the Republicans mocked, dismissed, and actually laughed out loud at Americans who engage in community service and organizing.

Our convention was different. We gave the stage to everyday Americans who hunger for change and stepped up to make phone calls, knock on doors, and raise money in small amounts in their communities.

You may have missed it, but we also showed the country a video with the faces and voices of those organizers, volunteers, and donors from every corner of the country.
Watch the video and make a donation of $5 or more now to show that in this election, ordinary people will make their voices heard.
https://donate.barackobama.com/changevideo

What you didn't hear from the Republicans at their convention is a single new idea about how to make the healthcare system work, get our economy moving for the middle class, or improve education.
Just attacks -- on me, and on you.

But what the McCain attack squad doesn't understand is that people like you -- who devote part of their busy lives to organizing and building their communities -- have the power to change this country.

With your help, that's exactly what we're going to do.
Thank you, Barack

Uh King Vanity and I watched or listened via radio the whole DNC.

I thought the stage was a Kennedy/Hillary/Bill and doom and gloom fest.

OTOH the RNC has been a wonderful history lesson to us and a true education on the history of the man running for POTUS.

And of meeting the Palin family. Real to us of what the word family represents.

And this incredibly juvenile, unprofessional E-mail helped the Obamessiah raise another $10 million.

I think employers create jobs.

Shows you that either they weren't listening last night or are hoping their email recipients weren't.

I heard school choice mentioned.

No better way to help the middle class than to cut taxes.

Energy independence (drill baby drill) was hammered as a way for every American to save money.

I'll give a pass on the health care since I didn't hear that one (maybe I wasn't listening too well if it was.) Of course, the healthcare system isn't broken, as the Dems would have you believe.

Somehow I missed the attack on people engaged in community service and organizing. What I heard was the question about whether that should be considered a major qualification, highly touted, for running for President.

I think there are plenty of “community organizers” in the Republican party. I’ll bet lots of them are in attendance at the convention. Some of them may even go on to run for President someday. But I’ll bet by then they have more on their resume than Obama does now.

Why would the Republicans spend a whole night of their convention attacking ordinary people? With the nation watching, the Republicans mocked, dismissed, and actually laughed out loud at Americans who engage in overt socialist and marxist activities?

Our convention was different. We gave the stage to everyday Kos-Kooks who hunger for anarchy and stepped up to make abusive phone calls, knock down doors, and raise hell in their communities.

You may have missed it, but we also showed the country a video with the faces and voices of those agitators, criminals, and hoodlums from every corner of the country (with their faces blacked out).

Watch the video and make a donation of $5 or more now to guarantee our “folks” won’t burn down your neighborhood.

What you hear from the Republicans at their convention is a promise to keep their guns abd bibles close at hand. This just can not be alowed to happen. Just attacks — on me, and on you - and probably for good reason.

But what the Obamallamadingdong attack squad doesn’t understand is that people like you — who devote part of their busy lives to honing their shooting skills — have the power to turn back the forces of evil. (US!)

With your help, being cannon fodder is exactly what we’re going to do.
Thank you,
ImBlack Hussein Obamallamadingdong.

LIAR

They mocked its use as executive experience suitable on a presidential candidate's resume.

So he wants to be the first BLIND/DEAF President?

Because I - AN INDEPENDENT - watched last night and the Republicans spent a whole night of their convention celebrating ordinary people!

Just another reason to ask for another small portion of the lives of their pathetic supporters. It smells like he’s running out of cash. Gimme five dollars.

Hey, Barry. Sarah wasn't attacking community organizers.

She was pointing out the absurdity of your claim that it somehow qualified you to be President.

Nice attempt to conflate community service and community organizing, Obama, you friggin' liar, but no mention at all was made of community service.

LOL...what in the world did two over-paid affirmative action babies and the old pol Biden have in common with “everyday Americans” at their convention in Denver?
And it is common knowledge that BO’s campaign is nearly broke...not a very good testimony to his crack executive management.
