I just remembered that the blue star is intended to be worn for each immediate family member directly involved in our war efforts.

So, to be clear:

One blue star currently for her son in the Navy, and another blue star for her son in the Army if he is stationed in Iraq or Afghanistan, right?

He reports to Basic Training on September 11, 2008, in honor of those who died on September 11, 2001.

Darn right you need more coffee because Palin only has ONE son in the military. Track is in the Army. Trig is not eligible for deployment. :)

It is McCain with a son in the Navy.
