'Barracuda' second most downloaded Heart MP3 song on Amazon

The song 'Barracuda' is now the second most downloaded Heart song on Amazon. I don't know where it was before Wednesday night, but could this be a good sign?

Well it was one of their most popular songs. 'Magic Man' gets more airtime these days, buy I always liked "Barracuda" better. Also their live version of "Unchanged Melody" is one of my favorites.

Have you all seen Gretchen Wilson’s version of Barracuda? Amazing. It is pretty easy to find on YouTube. Fergie also has a decent version, but not near Heart’s or Wilson’s version.

My favorite band, although I doubt the Wilson sisters would let the McCain camp use the song. They tend to be more liberal, peace-loving hippie chicks. You'd think, being the strong women that they are and who have taken a lot of women-hating crap, that they'd support a strong woman on the ticket.

BTW, if you've never heard it, the song "Mistral Wind" is the ultimate Heart song.

I went to a GW show just to hear her perform Barracuda. She's the only singer besides Ann Wilson who can do the song justice, IMO.

I don't think they have much of a say if the record company is still holding the rights. Plus the song is probably covered under ASCAP or BMI, so the RNC would just have to pay the appropriate fee to them for a public performance, and they license to anybody.

He does the baby happy butt thing with the squating action, followed by mass excitement when his sissy laughs at his dance moves...which inspires him to try to clean my desk with flying arms.
