Finally, the GOP has an attack dog albeit a pretty one. I hope that McCain will be worthy of his VP.
I am already working on a banner for the 2012 GOP convention — Palin for Prez.

After hearing her speech, I have actual hope for this country. She is one of us. Maybe she will set a trend ~ regular people in politics.

I watched with Sarah’s speech with an Independent and a Democrat. At this point, all three of us will vote for McCain and Palin!

>> she didn’t stumble over a single word that I can remember.

Good point.

Thompson, Liebermann, Giuliani — all had good speeches and all did a darn good job advancing the cause. But all of these “professional” pols stumbled — some of them, frequently.

Gov. Palin was (as far as I could tell) PERFECT.

I thought it was out-freaking-standing. Gov. Palin obviously has IT. I was watching on Fox News and the commentators (even the ones who didn’t want to give her credit) were all saying she “hit a home run”, “has a gift”, “is a natural”.

Also several commentators mentioned they thought the media frenzy was about to collapse on its own. I certainly hope so.

Sarah Palin's speech was a frozen-rope over the center field wall. It was still climbing as it went out and it may be climbing still!

She effectively laid out her experience, and effectively pointed out that B Hussein Obama has none.

She effectively pointed out B Hussein Obama's plans for America, and contrasted those with those of a McCain-Palin Administration.

She effectively pointed out the folly of Democratic energy policies, and specified the steps that would be taken in her administration.

And last but not least, she made me feel one-hundred percent better about John McCain as the GOP nominee.

I said it earlier today and I'll say it again now:

DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THIS WOMAN!!!!

Amen. Roger the Reagan comment. Governor Sarah Palin is a natural. American may just have met our Maggie Thatcher.

Giuliani set it up and she smashed it down.

Key observation: she hammered Obama without seeming either angry or shrill - a talent Senator Clinton would give anything for.

She came across as a refreshingly normal suburban mom.

When Sarah Palin goes on the attack she's still lovable. When Joe Biden goes on the attack, he is an insufferable arsehole.

That matters.

Warm. Charming. Composed. Witty. Bright. Personable. Real. All of those things, while at the same time landing body blows all over BHO. The toughness of Margaret Thatcher with the charm of Laura Bush. Unbelievable. She needs to be at the top of the ticket.

Brilliant. She was fantastic!!!

Just one question: Did we hear OVER AND OVER last week who wrote Biden's speech? Obama's speech? I don't remember that. Media is working overtime to downplay and minimize Palin's homerun tonight.
