AFAIK, Franco's bombers coming from the Balearic islands attacked by night with impunity all the Mediterranean coast from Cartagena to Barcelona.
Once general Queipo de Llano told on the National-side radio, with his characteristic sense of humour: we know butter from Russia has been unloaded at Cartagena [harbour], so tonight we´ll send you the toasts.
Cartagena harbour was severely bombed that night, setting ablaze some material and buildings.
