Frum is critical too I think. I understand some of their points, but I think they're mostly off base. Palin's record is NOT unreasonable, plus yes, she's articulate, energetic, and has some "pizzaz". What's so bad about that? Think of the alternatives: Ridge, Romney, Huckabee...c'mon people.

As soon as she was elected Alaska's new gov, she gained some attention as to future roles...that time has come.

Frum was the guy who said the key to GOP electoral success was...to lurch leftward and co-opt the Dems positions!!! But what do you want, Frum's a Canadian. (Derbyshire is naturalized UK, Andrew Stuttaford is still UK citizen, I think). So Frum was DEAD WRONG at the crucial time that McCain had to make his biggest decision ever.

I think we are seeing a pattern here...;-))
