Lots of people are fuming about the vile attack on Bristol Palin. But remember one thing. When John Kerry made a low-road remark in a debate about Mary Cheney’s lesbianism, not only did America groan in protest, but Lynn Cheney came out like a lioness defending her cubs and BLUDGEONED John Kerry in the court of public opinion with her shrewd and on-target remarks about his character.

Which is precisely what Sarah Palin should do tomorrow to the media and left, IMO.

The only thing I have against Saracuda is this: What is with these kids' names??? Trig? Track? Piper? Bristol? What's next -- Cape May and Sea Isle Palin??? (Although I always did think 'Asbury Park' would make a great Korean name...;-))

That's a valuable reminder, prairie. It seems like a lot to ask of Palin, right off the bat. I can easily imagine Lynne Cheney doing it, but don't know about Palin pulling it off successfully..

Bit, yes, I'd noticed that on the Corner. It's pretty off-putting, and there are undercurrents also from the other Corner denizens?? I pretty much skip Derb's comments these days....
