Way too many Californians in this season. No offense, but it’s stupid programming. The states/regions represented the more likely to draw in viewers from those areas and expand viewership.

California population 37 million / U.S. population 300 million = California 12.3% of U.S. population. 12.3% times 18 and proportionally only two survivors should be from California. Instead we have seven.
Amanda Kimmel, I think, was the first and so far only survivor from Montana. Some states, like Wyoming, have never had a contestant on the show.
And six are from SOUTHERN California.
