One glaring thing I've noticed about the lefts initial attacks on VP Palin
Liberal Lunacy ^ | 8/30/08 | GeorgiaDawg32

None of the attacks involve her record as Governor of Alaska. They are all personal in nature ranging from the absurd, to the sick, to the way out of left field tinfoil hat variety..

I've seen attacks that she's simply a "token" (obamalamadingdong isn't??), to one I saw this morning where a busy mom with 5 children should be ashamed she's going to be away from home and not tending to their needs (obama going to be away from HIS kids is not a consideration), etc..

These attacks are indicative of the left however. They're emotional rather than fact based. They are indicative of the Obama campaign in general, "knee jerk", "hair triggered" responses. They come off as buffoons compared to Sen. McCains gracious congratulatory message to Obama on the night of his nomination.

I sense a renewed vigor, a renewed commitment. It seems to me America always gets the right people at the right time to lead us.

The vigor with which the leftists are attacking means they must fear her greatly.

They, especially Hillary, do fear her greatly. They not only fear her for this election but the fact that she could keep the Dems (Hillary) out for another 8 years as President after her term(s) as VP under McCain.

Now, that changes the playing field. Hillary, instead of sabotaging Obama's chance of winning, so she could easily defeat McCain in 2012, has to change now and go after McCain/Palin or it's permanent curtains for Hillary and Chelsea, to who they've been giving national exposure in a political context.

U.S. Representative, Heather Wilson, On The Selection Of Gov. Sarah Palin

Heather: “You know, Governor Palin has more executive experience than Senator Obama, Senator Biden, and Senator Schumer combined because those guys have never run anything. So I find that quite amusing.”

“I was very disappointed with Senator Obama’s choice of a running-mate. He chose somebody else who’s a Washington insider from the East Coast who knows nothing about the west and Senator McCain surely does. I’m also very pleased that he’s chosen as his vice president, the chief executive of the oil producing state in America, strong energy credentials and the energy issue is very important to Americans.”

Bravo Zulu Heather! Sarah Palin has more executive experience than Snowbami, Biden, Pelosi, Reid, Boxer and most of the rats in congress combined.

Is it working? Check these poll results:

McCain shaves Obama Biden 4 Points on Palin Pick: Rasmussen

Looking at the latest numbers at Real Clear Politics here:

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/latestpolls/index.html

You can see that McCain shaved 4 points off Obama’s bounce.

Always expect the lowest from them, and you will be neither surprised nor disappointed.

On South Beach, A.K.A. The Land Of The Affected & Infected, there is a superb bakery, a remnant of the days when South Beach was largely Jewish. In that bakery occurred proof that the Democrats have lost it over Gov. Palin.

I was talking to a grandmotherly type, with a considerable aura of command presence showing at the edges. She was, it turned out, very edgy.

In the Epicure, she described Gov Palin as a beauty queen type, suited “for screwing in the back seat of a car”. She couldn’t believe McCain could so “insult America” by such a choice.

This woman built the leading business in her field, and is otherwise the epitome of an educated and successful business owner. Yet, as a self described ‘life long Democrat’, she is suffering extreme cognitive dissonance.

Obama talks change, Palin actualized positive changes in an entire state. Obama failed to make any difference in any place and so didn’t do at great cost to Annenberg.

Her friend was a retired Urban Studies professor -erudite, quite intelligent, curious about even ideas opposed to her core beliefs.

The reason for this post is to suggest that if a U of Miami professor can be interested in facts, there is a real possibility that this election’s cargo of data about the candidates may cause nation wide premise revision.

America needs to change it’s premises. It’s time to define, denunciate, and disown the premises of socialism.

Socialism is the original sin of the American experiment in self government. Governor William Bradford wrote of the Pilgrim experiment with socialism, A.K.A. the ‘Starving Winter’, “This community was nearly our undoing”.

By “community” Bradford meant community ownership - what we now call “Communism” or “socialism”.

Most Democrats are unaware that their Party leaders are avowed socialists. Discuss this with them in a friendly manner, as they are deeply stressed. Cognitive dissonance is not fun.

I know. As a younger man, I drove a VW MicroBus to the first March On Washington. My experience as a Sierra Club Florida Executive Committee (FLEXCOM) member was another such encounter with cognitive dissonance.

If a brash young Liberal like me could learn, so can others. Let’s get busy teaching. Liberals are, after all, our fellow American, and have a claim on our help.

Thanks to McCain’s choice of Palin, we have many examples at hand to contrast American premises in action with Obama’s socialist premises.

Time for lots of popcorn and discussions with Liberals.

I should not have been surprised by the viciousness and immediacy of the left's attacks on Palin, but I was. I was watching a CNN interview with a McCain strategist where the reporter (I believe her name was Campbell Brown or something similar) could not control her extreme bias. She was badgering the guest and trying to make him "admit" that Palin was extremely underqualified and essentially called him a liar when he wouldn't. Most MSM stories have been really pushing this theme of inexperience, as if VP Palin's relative inexperience would somehow be worse then the total inexperience of a President Obama.

Since I'm not a politician, I can admit that I have little faith in the American people to see through all the BS and make the right decision this election. I hope I'm wrong, but I see a big lurch into socialism this November.

Everyone says she has no foreign experience. Here is a video of her introducing a meeting with American and Canadian government officials concerning energy related issues.

I know that doesn’t seem like much but I understand she also has had to deal with Russia with fishing and other border type issues.

This from the party that denigrates stay at home moms and push women to be career women and empower themselves while they day care their children.

Isn't it rich?

“The good news is that the majority of people in this country who make a differnce, who pay the taxes, who really make the Gross National Product, or, those who pay the bills and build America, know the radical trashy left for exactly who and what they are.”

Sorry but the public ignored people who actually had relevant and much needed experience on both sides for a man who is a great speaker and another man who is a war hero. Neither of these men have ever run a city or state. The biggest and most important issue the next president will have to deal with is the economy. Obama has shown us his financial genius in his making $4 million then turning around and losing approx 75% of it. McCain himself has said he doesn’t understand the economy. Did the people who you feel can’t be fooled choose wisely? No they did not. It’s sad that out of the 4 people on the tickets only a VP has some governmental executive experience. The people were easily fooled once and I expect it to happen again. My faith in the voting public is gone.
