I agree. While I'm extremely happy (and surprised!) about Palin, the demonrats have already got their teeth and knives sharpened and will attack her and McCain with everything they can.
If anything this had turned the demonrats into a huge pack of vicious, rabid, demon possessed wolves.

My thoughts exactly. Everyone needs to keep perspective on the steps ahead.
And there are many, and mostly difficult to attain the goal.
