Why is Obama yelling in the microphone?

Because he's a democrat. 'Rats always yell. Haven't you noticed? It makes them sound like they're righteously angry instead of just pimping the boobs in the audience, and it fools the boobs into thinking they're serious. They share an image of themselves as embattled defenders of the oppressed (notice how they're always "fighting for' this that or the other cause?). It's all bunk of course, but the boobs in the audience lap it up.

There was barely enough room in the stadium for all of Obama's lies, deceptions and other BS.

I don’t get the raise tax on the rich rant, everyone understands that mentality doesn’t trickle down wealth, just the cost of the new taxes are applied to the cost of goods we buy. They pay no more we get soaked more and nothing gets done with the money they take ala the big dig, social security etc....
don’t fall for it folks, its all hat, no cattle.

We need Jesus

They all showed up for not even a wafer, but a crumb. A nice tasting crumb, an attractive crumb, but the same ole’, same ole’ liberal crumb. Wasn’t that a replay of that little opening documentary/ad for Obama. Not wise to replay emotional material that has just been seen a few days prior, takes the building momentum away from even some of the converts. Obama is a nice orator, but this is it.

Surf over here for a far, far better presidential nomination acceptance speech.

What the hell is “America’s Promise” that we’ve been hearing all week? All these Democrats have talked about but not explained what it is. I don’t remember us (Americans) making a promise. Is it in the Constitution? Declaration of Indepence? Where and what is it?

That was really a bust. No substance, no climax, and the ending with the music and fireworks was silly. You’d expect exciting stuff but instead the music sounded like what they’d play during the credits for a movie. All of them moving around on stage so scripted it was ridiculous.

Sorry if this all sounds disjointed.

I didn’t find it as boring as Kerry’s speech, which was rambling mish-mush about “Hair Pollution”.

I noticed that Obama had many slips as he was looking at the teleprompter to remember what he should say. May I also say that it is the usual Free Stuff to everyone, Hide my politics, whitewash my biography, attack President Bush Convention. In fact I thought that John Kerry already used that On Your Own joke before.

A few more thoughts:

Everyone already has an affordable education. They can be educated by public schools, private schools, homeschools, parents, grandparents, libraries. Besides throwing money at Public Schools(forgetting about School Vouchers I guess) what good is Obama going to do? We had Jimmy Carter plant some federal shoes and it has gotten downhill from there.

Drilling isn’t a long term solution, but it is a short-term one to wait for break-throughs in Alt. Fuels which have already been spent on by Bush and will be spent on by a McCain.

I still find it ridiculous that the first Black Nomination on a Major Party’s Ticket is so giving to Abortion and Homosexual Marriage, and ignores President Bush’s money spent on AIDs. Must be his White Self, I guess with more than 13 million black babies aborted. BTW, did anyone notice that they spent 90% of the time on Barry’s typical white grandmother and grandfather than on direct members of his African family in that biography(His father was mentioned a few times)?

I just sent an email to some friends about the speech that consists of the words "That was it?" Great minds, I guess.

I can compliment Clinton and even Hillary when they give speeches that excite their fans--I don't like them, and I think their speeches are empty, but I wish we had folks on our side who could rile up the base as those two phonies do. So I listened to the speech thinking "I'm going to receive this as if I were open to this guy."

And there was just NOTHING there. Boilerplate, cliche, blandness.

>>Because the Democrats have been running everything since 2006.

The Dems say they want change. So do I. I want different legislators. I live in Massachusetts where we have a Dem
governor (Patrick), Lt Gov (Murray), Auditor, Treasurer,
Sec of the Commonwealth...all 10 US Reps, both Senators,
and much of the State legislature. All donkeys.

Change? I’m all for it! Trouble is many of them are
unopposed and those who do face opposition have a tough
battle.

Kerry is running for re-election and faces a primary
opponent, Ed O’Reilly; also a final election opponent,
Jeff Beatty (R). I am an independent and could get a Dem
ballot...and find myself voting AGAINST Kerry both times.
