yes, he also called Medicare/Medicaid and said extend his people's checks 30 days or something like that so they would not stick around waiting for their end of the month check. Sounded like he had everything and then some covered.

Katrina made landfall in MS, so NO was on the “good side” of the storm...Gus will be worse, especially if he goes straight up Lake Pontchartrain(sp?)

when making preparations folks, be sure your chain saws are ready for after the storm.

alot of people seem to forget that, New Orleans dodged the bullet, on the good side of the storm, it was two levies breaking that put New Orleans under water not Katrina. Ms got hit much harder. Gus, if the track holds will be far far worse for New Orleans then Katrina.
