Jindal is laying it all out there, sounds like a lot, a really large lot of assistance is coming from other states, Nat’l Guard, ambulances etc...many states taking patients in their hospitals, shelters. He has tons of rescue teams lined up as well. man he talks fast:)

yes, he also called Medicare/Medicaid and said extend his people's checks 30 days or something like that so they would not stick around waiting for their end of the month check. Sounded like he had everything and then some covered.

Katrina made landfall in MS, so NO was on the “good side” of the storm...Gus will be worse, especially if he goes straight up Lake Pontchartrain(sp?)

when making preparations folks, be sure your chain saws are ready for after the storm.
