When there were fires in San Diego my DIL and 2 grandsons were brought in by the Navy. They got the “last” room. It was a relief for us and my son that was out to sea.

I think we will be evacuated tomorrow. My mother has to go by ambulance.

We were a host town until Rita but now people are asked to go farther north.

People who stayed for Rita are the first getting out of town.

We are about 70 inland. Water isn't a problem but high winds and trees don't mix.

Being on post will be good. They will have emergency generators, water, medical and communications, so you and your baby should be fine. And looters will not be an issue 8-)
