Vanity: Fox throws Rove under the bus
Posted on 08/28/2008 7:17:26 AM PDT by ConservativeMan55
Why is Foxnews throwing their own employee under the bus?
That ticks me off!
Megyn Kelly asked Rove.. did you call Lieberman? And he said no that report is untrue.
She continued.. saying Lieberman confirmed the report.
And Rove said "I'm not going to get into who I call"
Then a Foxnews Reporter came on and basically tried to confirm the story said "Rove said Lieberman would be a devastating pick"

If Rove called Lieberman I see absolutely nothing wrong with it.
If I had the clout I’d call the guy too lol.

I think everyone is getting a little too emotional, too much drama and high anxiety. And they need to take a step back and calm down.

Why does Rove have to apologize for doing what Democrat operatives do every day of their lives?

I don’t see anything wrong with Rove calling or talking to Lieberman.
He’s looking out for Conservatives.

Rove doesn’t want the last 8 years of work to be undone.
How would it be undone?
It would be undone if McCain picks Lieberman.
Because if McCain picks Lieberman.. The Obamasiah gets elected.

It would be a comedy act if McCain picked the liberal Lieberman. There would be cartoons of Lieberman the ventriloquist putting words in McCain the puppet’s mouth?

Come on, while Fox definitely doesn’t have the far left slant of the other news stations, they are not above doing whatever. Watch them fawn over people like Gov. Richardson of NM. Sometimes they are sickening.

Mine too. Kelly’s not. She’s too much of a news anchor wannabee. Not usually professional at all. IMO

Chris Wallace was fawning over Michelle Obama’s speech.
Then Bill Kristol was like “I was unimpressed”

What we have here Pilgrim is failure of Fox's CHICKAFICATION program to work correctly.
Anyone see BOR O’Really last night exclaim he belongs to no party.
Did anyone hear the governor of Montana make disparaging remarks against Sean O’Hanity.

Please go outside and get some fresh air. Maybe a hobby. You are getting way too wrapped up in this stuff for your own good. If Rove denied and Lieberman confirmed, there is a valid line of questioning for a reporter. Rove certainly isn't above telling a whopper.

The women on Fox leave much to be desired IMO. EVERYBODY on Fox leave much to be desired. I was going to exsempt Britt Hume but he has some responsibility for who's there and who's not so there you go. Ever since Tony Snow left it's been building dowwn hill momentum.
