From this picture it appears there weren't very many people there. Aren't these things usually packed?

I wonder where wifey's mind was in this moment, in order to get through this with a modicum of believability?
To: redstates4ever
I don't think so... I think she looks dignified and attractive. If my wife wore that dress in public I'd have no problem with it.
there are lots of valid reasons to dislike the guy as president, no need to invent others.

What I said about her taste in clothiing for the occasion had nothing whatever to do with using her as a reason not to elect her husband.

Its definitely not formal attire which is what is normally worn to events like this. She has plans to replace the china and silver with paper plates and plastic forks if she gets into the white house.

I just figured it out. Something looked wrong with the way she appeared, and I thought it was just my own pre-judgement, but I figured it out. She looked low-key, nice smile (though her teeth are too big for her mouth), reticent, first-ladyish, avoided the ebonics... her appearance was just what they’ve been wanting it to be. But she continually shook her head while she talked, which has the effect of negating everything she was saying.
I think it must have been really difficult for her to get up there and do a dog and pony for whitey like that. Very difficult.

I agree. Showing your booty to the whole world in a clingy cocktail dress is not becoming for someone who want to be First Lady.

Interesting. I would love to hear that body language expert on The O’Reilly Factor comment on Michelle’s performance. I bet Bill will have her on tonight!

LOL.
That picture creeps me out.

“I think she looks dignified and attractive. If my wife wore that dress in public I’d have no problem with it.”
Of course, but this isn’t a normal “public” event. This event is to officially choose the dem candidate for President. She could be the next first lady. Its not a cocktail party.
For me it shows a continued lack of respect for this country and its traditions.
