Why so coy? How about the rest of us? Who's the sponsor? YouTube? The RNC?
Guess I have time to kill cause the micro second it took for me to scoll down didn't bother me.
A big thanks from me to Jim for it being there.
But lots of other people will, and maybe some of them are not aware of Obama and Ayers.
FReepers follow politics closely. Not everyone does. I think the ad is a great way to expose as many people as possible to Bill Ayers and what he stands for.
And more importantly, what Obama stands for.
It was just a friendly hint. Proceed.
OMG! We really are a nation of whiners!
Sorry beckysueb, but there’s a big difference between voicing annoyance and whining.
In order to get rid of it I had to disable the link banner in preferences: Manage Blocks. I initially tried to just disable all the forums in the scroll bar, but that didn’t work. I went back in and disabled the rest: Banner links and locater? Whatever. All I know is that when I disabled everything I got rid of the ad. I never used the scroll bar anyway or any of the other links.
I sort of like to choose what I review.

So why do you think you HAVE to start the video in order to brouse the column of latest articles?
I see it added by the owner of this site in the same place where he has added links to key topics.
FR has always been cutting edge technologically, and since you have been around since 2003, you should be aware of the rhythm and rhyme of this site.
I would like to forward it in email. What is the link please.
Sure there is. The guy who's whining merely thinks he's voicing his annoyance.
Well there certainly seems to be more than one annoyed by it.
LOL! There's always an option, until your last option.
Thanks to John Robinson’s awesome and unique Free Republic software, the Forum pages are user configurable.
Look for a link on the Forum page called “Configure Sidebar”. Click it and go to this page:
http://www.freerepublic.com/perl/manage-blocks
You can choose the content that you want, its arrangement on the page, its size and color. This capability was fine-tuned earlier this year.
As to the “Ayers-Obama connection” video, I am thrilled to see this disseminated as widely as possible. Many Freepers and lurkers and some undecided voters will see it here. I have a dial-up connection and don’t see too much video as it takes quite a while to load, so I was glad to see it.
It reminds me of the Swift Boat videos that spread the truth about Kerry in key states on television and on the internet, and helped to defeat him. I consider the money that I gave to the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth as well spent, and would consider sending money to support the “Ayers-Obama connection” video.
What about the right of the owner to put on his site whatever he believes is important?
Well I've been here since '98, and I am not aware of the rhythm and rhyme of this site, nor do I care to be aware of it or the cutting-edge technology it uses. Is that a requirement for me to be here? Your comment is a bit arrogant.
You have to set your beeber to stune.
Yes, that's what they do over at the Times. But this is a forum, not an organ.
And it that regard it is like any other thread listed below it. You can choose to ignore it and not run the ad, just as you can ignore any given thread posted by not clicking on it.
what guy?
