But lots of other people will, and maybe some of them are not aware of Obama and Ayers.
FReepers follow politics closely. Not everyone does. I think the ad is a great way to expose as many people as possible to Bill Ayers and what he stands for.
And more importantly, what Obama stands for.
I doubt anybody will. People who don’t follow politics ESPECIALLY don’t follow politics during the conventions. Conventions are events 100% for political junkies, particularly political junkies of the same persuasion as the party holding the convention, nobody else on the planet is even slightly interested in them. This will hold especially true for the Dem convention since he’s already announced his VP, that’s the only thing that’s even slightly interesting to the non-junkie that happens during conventions, and having already happened this one will be entirely playing to the choir.
Nobody is going to be watching the dem convention and say “hey lets check out this conservative website I’ve heard about but never visited before”. Just plain never ever going to happen, not even once. Anybody watching the dem convention is part of the dem choir, and this is the GOP choir. They’re all going to be DU and KOS types, and maybe a few random insomniacs hoping to get bored to sleep, they won’t be checking FR either, to potentially interesting.
