I see it added by the owner of this site in the same place where he has added links to key topics.

Well I've been here since '98, and I am not aware of the rhythm and rhyme of this site, nor do I care to be aware of it or the cutting-edge technology it uses. Is that a requirement for me to be here? Your comment is a bit arrogant.

Actually FR has never been cutting edge technologically. Technologically FR is generally about a step and a half above usenet, which is part of what makes it fast and useful, not a lot of dopey overhead. he cutting edge in discussion board technology these days is really heavy in annoying clutter and stupid widgits. Which could be part of why I don’t like the ads showing up, that’s exactly the kind of cluttery widget that’s making the rest of the discussion boards on the internet basically useless.
