As promised, movie guns and I might as well add television firearms. From Quigley, Down Under to Romeo and Juliet[!]. Who had the most recognizable firearm in the media? Who bought a gun just because it was in a movie? Which gun outshined the stars?

The long camera shot of Jesse James' gift to his killer to the opening scene of a western. Media guns.

And they’re still debating the model. Best guess it started life as a .41 but Smith continued making it as a Model 29 .44 Magnun for the movie.

That looks like the weapon the Aussies (or maybe it was the Brits) use in Iraq.

It’s a suppressed Steyr AUG in .223 but I don’t know if it starred in any movie.

The Charleton Heston classic "The Omega Man." (Minus the suppressor, of course.)
To: Shooter 2.5
If I remember correctly, one of the bad guys in the first Die Hard movie carried a Steyr-Aug.
To: Shooter 2.5
Die Hard 1. No suppressor though.

gorgeous guns. accurate as all heck too.
shot ‘em in 40-65, 45-70, and 45-90. that 45-90 packed a punch tho, not sure if i’d want to try the 45-110 he used.
