Is a blizzard to much to hope for The earliest snow I can recall there was on August 31 about ten years ago. It isn't likely, but not impossible.

For some reason, NOAA has lost enthusiasm for keeping the numbers updated since 2006. And maybe they "overlooked" the snow 10 years ago (Vince, if you have any proof, it would be yet another chance to prove a government lie). The current official record first snow (Sept 3) is not far outside the convention dates.
