It will be a wonderful testament to global warming to see all the worshipers at Invesco @ Mile High freezing and bundled up during the messiah’s sermon on the 50 yard line.

As soon as the sun goes down and if there’s a breeze, Invesco can get pretty cold.

When I lived in Boulder in the late 80’s there was snow in Labor Day week.

I’d love it if they’d get a dusting in Denver for the convention.

I live at 8500 ft elevation west of Denver. The low temperature here Saturday was 38F. I have a wacky liberal neighbor that also calls cold weather or abnormal snowfall “global warming”. Last year, when the snow plows were having a hard time keeping up with the snowfall, she lamented “oh, I just don’t know what we will do if this global warming gets worse”.

Don’t forget, AGW stands for “Al Gore Warming.”

Is a blizzard to much to hope for during Obama's outdoor coronation...

That would be beautiful to see... especially High Priest Al Gore shivering in the stands.

I tried to look around that site to find a reference. I was not living in Denver a the time, but one of the suburbs. This makes a difference, as downtown Denver and the airport are lower than the surrounding area. Unfortunately, I can’t find links to the suburbs.
