Since we posted some great looking firearms, I thought it would be fun to post some of the ugliest guns in history. That's my opinion, of course. Post some of the ones you think just didn't make the grade in the looks department.

But then the .357 Maximum came out and they both failed togeather.
The market may have failed for the .357 max, but the cartridge certainly did not.
The max in a Ruger Black Hawk is a slick combination.

The max was a great silhouette round. Never caught on. Neither did the .41. I have hunted with my .44 and it works! The max or the B&D would be cool to play with, but they are a handloaders toy. (Snicker!!, all my .44 kills were handloads.)

Tell me about it. ;)
I have no experience with the B&D, but I know the max well.
I must say, it really looks funny to see a max sticking out of the front of a .38 special cylinder.(Those things are LoooooonG!)
I don't own either a max or a Black Hawk, but I would be thrilled to acquire the latter.

Nope, it has a hammer on it. The back v-sight is elongated, too, unlike the other models I find online. There is very little pitting on the metal, too. I have the bakolite grips removed and rubber grips on the weapon since it still shoots safely and I fire it occasionally on a trip to the range. The front blade sight is a half-moon and kind of large.

The 1022 drum looks like fun! Do they sell a speed loader for it? Or will my 1022 box mag speed loader work? I once fired a full auto open bolt 1022 ... 25 rounds went ziiip! Drilled a hole right through a cinder block. But that same day I enjoyed the suppressed Beretta 9mm more.

I cannot imagine holding the 40 round .45 drum! Lotta weight there. I’ve got a couple of 18 round Browning Hi Power model extended mags, but don’t have a Hi-Power anymore.

I think you would forget about the weight real quick if you had, say, oh, I dunno, like maybe, A HOARD OF COMMUNIST BEARS BREATHING DOWN YOUR NECK!
I know I would. ;)

You drop the third one back and while a pile forms of stumblers you plink the leader and next one back. By then they’re either diving for cover or so stupid they need killin’, and quickly!

If your feeling adventurous you could pull a York and just work from the back.
Or if your feeling like a redneck, you could just load your spudgun with a molotov cocktail and go all yehaw on em'
But seriously, I really wouldn't want to get that close to a 'Bear'
(The closest I would want to get is around 1.5x their effective range)
I don't own a digital camera yet, but as soon as I build one I should be able to post some pics of cool 'hardware' that I 'come across'

I actually like this one, it may be homely but it has some charm over me that I just can’t explain.

Here's a link [http://www.armchairgunshow.com/images/11xtb4508-ij6469-FW89341-hr6808-ha253.jpg] with several profiles I found on the web. My gun is similar in shape to the XTB 4508, but has the finish and trigger look of the IJ6469 hammerless, yet mine has a hammer very similar to the bottom .32 calibre one. Mine is a five shot .38SW model with what looks like Arabic engraved on the rightside of the frame near the grips. If it were Greek or Hebrew lettering I would recognize it, so I'm guessing Arabic. It shoots very nicely and hss a great 'point your finger' accuracy at 25 feet.

My son had a ten dollar bb gun that looked better than that.
That’s a disgrace for anyone to call themselves a firearms company.
I think you are the second place winner with first place going to the Liberator. At least the Liberator had a really good reason to look as bad as it did.

My first one I bought when they first became available is mint blued. The other 2 are re-finished in black. I carry one in my car. If it gets stolen, I’m not out $500 to $1,000 as if someone stole one of my other pistols.
I found some hollow points for it.
Here is a good article with some good pictures:

(and yes, it does have an impressive muzzle blast)
