Isn't the 1917 the gun used by Harrison Ford in the first Indiana Jones movie Raiders of the Lost Ark? The scene where he's packing his bag and chiding the doddering older guy (has since passed away IRL) who is worried about the awesome powers of the "Ark of the Covenant" as he (Jones) tosses a large older revolver into the suitcase. Then there is the screwed up scene in the bar with the girl, Marion, where he starts a shooting sequence with a revolver in his hand but finishes it (after a cutaway and back shot) with a 1911!

The auto in the bar was a Hi-Power I believe. As far as the Indy revolver, I think it was a .44 HE Second model, as it had commercial (medallioned) stocks. (Of course the 1917 is a 2nd Model but in .45 ACP) Who knows what stuff they drag out of the prop department?
