Oh - didn’t see them waving the Chinese flag too.
Another observation....about the opening drama...
They had a huge display of Confucious followers (sp)....
And they mentioned that those principles are also found in Buddhism and some other chinese religion....
Yet Christianity was not mentioned at all - of course. Yet I have read that there are almost as many Christians in China today as there are Buddhists....no thanks to the bloody Chinese Communist attempts to wipe out true Christianity there.
Also, when the Olympics were held in this country last - did our history portrayal include the importance of the Christian faith on that stadium floor? I somehow don’t think so.

Very nice. I went to the show jumping gold medal round in Atlanta. Never been to any equestrian event ever. Really enjoyed it.

I once saw a movie done of the Moscow 1980 opening ceremonies and it was impressive on a massive commie scale like this one. I said then that the only way to top that for Los Angeles in 1984 would be to have the space shuttle launch from midfield. LA did itself proud regardless.

How about posting some pics of the waterhoses and dogs on black people in the U.S. about 25 years before this pic was taken? Or, maybe the National Guard killing students at Kent?
I am not a huge fan of China’s past political acts, or even the facist things I see going on now. BUT, look in the mirror and you’ll see that we haven’t been perfect and one could easily post pictures on the Chines version of unFreerepublic.
I don't have any pictures of Scottish athletes, but here is a picture of the Irish rowing team. It's near Scotland.
