I remember going on a music board because some woman was making up stories about knowing Jim Steinman. It wouldn’t have been a big deal to me, except this woman had gone onto my website, found a few words I had said, and had gone back to the music board claiming I was some woman who had backstabbed her years ago. The woman would have done all this when I was five years old. I only found out, because I was doinga search on my family name. I was angry at first, but became amused and felt sorry for the woman when I found out she thought about five other women were this one.

There are more fakes here too...I won't say names...that claim military experience, but can't even correctly name the service that they claim to have been a part of....

I know one person on this forum claiming military experience who is a fake. Isn't it illegal to make those claims?

I'm not sure what the laws are. It is, at least, bad form. Some claims will get you put in jail.
