I didn't see any mention of depth of field or working distance. I wonder if this could be used in a specimen scope setup for gemological uses where one wants to focus below the surface of the gemstone.

I carry a 10X eyepiece around at work (electronics assembly). This would be really handy if combined with a good LCD screen and went to substantially higher magnification.
