ATHENS, Ga. (AP) - High expectations for Georgia were overshadowed by off-field troubles as the Bulldogs held their first practice Monday.
Coach Mark Richt fielded questions from reporters for about 45 minutes, most of them about players being arrested, dismissed or suspended since Georgia finished last season with a dominant victory over Hawaii in the Sugar Bowl.

The good thing is we are not top 5 in the Fulmer Cup.
Now that practice has started, you would think that the off field issues would go away. The guys that got caught are being punished and hopefully will be running until their lungs explode.

As if either school’s fans need a bigger reason to party...
Congratulations on your school’s #1 rating (as a party school). You must be SO proud.
LOL!..............Bail 'em out, let 'em play then prosecute after they graduate........LOL!
The conventional belief is that the winner of the USC-Ohio State (who BTW play again next year) and the winner of the SEC championship game will play for the BCS Title. Other folks think that maybe the Big 12 winner (like Missouri) could sneak in,
I think Utah might beat Michigan. Alot of people are picking Michigan to have a losing record. As I was watching that Mich-App St game the other night I had to think that those 2 teams will never play again. If they do Mich will be so UP for that game they’ll probably win 90-0.
Perhaps you’ve seen those NOBAMA t-shirts meaning no to Barrack Obama. The great thing about those t-shirts is that during the election is can mean NOBAMA (as in no barrack obama) and in football season it can mean NOBAMA (as in no to Alabama). Think about it.
OTOH that might mean your team really sucks. LOL!
We’re ranked #10 so, I guess we’ll see.
BTW: thanks for launching our 2005 National Championship season.
