FN HiPower 9MM
The nice thing about this one is when the safety comes off, the hammer cocks itself and then you're ready to fire it. No more condition one on this pistol.
And yes, I am an easy customer for someone making nice grips.
I had, for a very short time, a 9mm Belgian HiPower, with Nazi markings, dated 1939. It had a bulged barrel from the previous owner shooting some very hot submachine-gun rounds through it, so it got swapped for a Remington 870 with a 5-shot mag extension, and an evil-black-gun folding stock. I liked them both, but I'd settle for a GI issue 1911. (OK, so right now, I'd settle for a Raven .25)
My little tack driver looks just like this one.
Yeah I was gonna say, those are some nice grips. They remind me of a pearloid pickguard on a guitar, except those grips are a swirl.

Yup, do doubt, those sure are some puurdy (handsome) grips.
I LIKE that Mauser. :-)
As much as I love my glocks.. and I got a ton of them..
that HiPower is REALLY tempting me. Very nice.
Thats a pretty nice HiPower you’ve got there... **drool**
I have a Sig P239 SAS with a really nice set of grips. I'm a little reluctant to carry it because I don't want to ding them up. I put a set of Mustang grips on my Colt Diamondback and carried it on an elk hunt in the rockies. The gun now has "characture" but it isn't near as pretty.
