I found this little guy flitting around my lilac tree yesterday and managed to get a photo of him/her. The original photo is not good, way too much light behind the bird and I forgot how to set my camera to force the flash. I just knew he was going to take off before I could get my camera set. But, with a lot of photoshop tweaking and manipulating, I managed to get a half way decent image of him and hope you don't mind if I share it with you all. This looked to be a very young hummingbird with very little color.
Grannie9, to answer your question from a couple days ago; no, we don't have Chickadees around here. I would sure love to see one though! We do have "Lesser Goldfinches". They are sweet little birds.
And, congrats to GeeBee and Maj on your new cameras and Cardhu on your new computer!
Thanks to everyone for the pings yesterday, I saw them all, just didn't have time to reply. Today is going to be a busy day too. You all have a good one, whatever your plans be, and I'll be back when I can get back.
Lori, that is a GREAT picture! You sure can do incredible things with that camera of yours!
It reminded me of this amazing hummer shot. The photographer says he hopes it will make us smile. (It sure does!)

Lori, I saw this on my way out today and didn’t get to tell you. Its amazing what you did with that hummingbird, because I looked at both pictures. Terrific. And I saw those “doll-baby” pictures of Sissy. You all have her rotten! She’s a cutie alright.
Wow, great catch there with the camera. I’m lucky if I can catch the grandkids. ;) By the time I see a Hummer, it’s long gone by the time I find the camera.
