Yeah...That typo was so off, it almost looked like a foriegn word!
:)
That “Red Sails in the Sunset” is absolutely gorgeous. And I’ve always loved the song. I listened to it before I posted.
Thank you, Billie...
Thanks for opening the doors today.
Tsk,tsk, tsk, what will I celebrate today??
Loved your graphics with the celebration events! Great posts!
I might make my own luck like going to buy a lottery ticket~~LOL~~
LOL - you said it! I was having the hardest time trying to figure it out - even with the sailboat in the opening it didn’t register. :)
And in answer to an earlier post you made that I must have a lot of bluebirds.....yep! I sure do, and though I love them all, I have favorites that I can't help but go back to. This is one of my *most* favorite of all:
Thanks, Lori - appreciate that. :)
You know, after all the details we always put into our Finest threads, this is a piece of cake!
Weren't those horse booties the cutest things! LOL
I found this little guy flitting around my lilac tree yesterday and managed to get a photo of him/her. The original photo is not good, way too much light behind the bird and I forgot how to set my camera to force the flash. I just knew he was going to take off before I could get my camera set. But, with a lot of photoshop tweaking and manipulating, I managed to get a half way decent image of him and hope you don't mind if I share it with you all. This looked to be a very young hummingbird with very little color.
Grannie9, to answer your question from a couple days ago; no, we don't have Chickadees around here. I would sure love to see one though! We do have "Lesser Goldfinches". They are sweet little birds.
And, congrats to GeeBee and Maj on your new cameras and Cardhu on your new computer!
Thanks to everyone for the pings yesterday, I saw them all, just didn't have time to reply. Today is going to be a busy day too. You all have a good one, whatever your plans be, and I'll be back when I can get back.
Lori, that is a GREAT picture! You sure can do incredible things with that camera of yours!
It reminded me of this amazing hummer shot. The photographer says he hopes it will make us smile. (It sure does!)

LOL! When Texas had their first Lottery Tickets available, I bought one every now and then - never won a thing, but the anticipation was sorta fun - "would it be a lucky number this time?" The new wore off pretty quick and I haven't even thought of buying a ticket in a long time!
I'm glad you're enjoying today's 'holidays' - we can post doggie pictures to our heart's content - 'cause it's Dog Day!

So beautiful, Billie! I’m not going to be around much today..and did not get back to say thank you to all the lovely posts yesterday.
Chickadees? :) We were chickadees once, remember? :)
And I LOVE how you framed those darling doggies!
Oh my gosh, how cute is that hummingbird drinking through the straw! Thanks for that link. It did make me smile.
I DO remember that we were once Chickadees.....and I can STILL sing higher than an angel! I love that graphic. :-)
