Oh Gran, you’re so generous to share your recipe with me.
I would love to have it! Forget the fudge chocolate and devil’s food....gimmee carrot any day! (Yes, I really do like it THAT much.)

Now if you could somehow loan me your pool.....;)

Thank you, Billie. Lori came up with the Banana Split Graphic really quick. I received the prayer a couple of days ago and saved it. I had seen it before and failed to keep a copy.

Thinking of you this week, Dolly.

Which day is the trial? I will say a little prayer.

I am back and have been setting up my new computer - it is a HP Pavillion Slimline -— it is very small but seems to have all the guts that I need. I will be running both computers for some time but will gradually migrate my stuff over to this one. It is Vista but I got it to work with the Flash Player so that problem has been taken care of.

So far so good execept for the junk HP loaded into it. I am using to post this to you guys.

No, what I was trying to say, grannie, is that it's my internet connection - I have tons of hard drive and memory on two different pcs, but what I don't have is high speed internet - one day AT&T will see fit to service my area! :)

I'm not sure if I want to purchase a 3D software program, but was just curious how they worked. I didn't download the trial or anything - just read a revue with some screen shots. I'm always searching for 'stuff' that I might want, though I am so comfortable with PI Pro 13, and do everything with it - except I don't use the animation feature in it - I've used Gif Construction to make animations for years. :)

Everything I've ever read about graphics for viewing on the internet says 72 dpi is the standard, because it still gives the clarity and yet download time is minimal. That is the reason I compress graphics I post on the forum to 72 dpi. If I were printing photographs then of course would use more dpi for higher resolution. :)

I do have a hard time opening the 'heavy' graphics here, especially when there are so many posted one right after another. Am sure I'm one of the last people in the world who relies on dialup!

I also pay for server space, and can upload a lot more graphics if they're under 100 KB than the larger ones! LOL I will delete this soon, but just for an example below, I compressed your lovely graphic of 413 KB to 93 KB, and it's still just gorgeous!

Well, you know you can’t ‘tease’ about a picture and not post it. :)

I size them all in Irfanview. It’s an excellent program and is free. It has loss-less sizing and turning of your stuff, and also batch sizing. Check it out. Will play vids, music, etc.

Forgot this. :) I had Irfanview several years ago, but I removed it a few software programs ago. :)

Oh for heaven’s sakes,..then you’re ok, lol. You know more about it than I do. All you need is cable. That pic looks fine to me, but don’t confuse me....I’ll stick to what I know. ;)

I feel bad for you, because I waited a long time up here in the “flatlands” of Nu Hamp-sha. I lived with AOL for way too long in the flatlands of Fla-duh too. ;)

I never use anything but 72 dpi. They say it doesn’t make any difference. Although I have seen some use up to 250 in some of their Vue pics. Why add to render times? Of course those same people do renders that last for days. Hah, not I!

Oh Woe is Me! I am so far behind on this thread. I hate it when that happens. I am missing so many goodies. I’ll have to catch up after supper, I hope.

Don’t go anywhere, ok?

I don’t know if they sell it anymore, Billie. I’ve looked online. If you really want it, and it’s no longer sold, I could copy it and send it to you.

Lol! Don’t whip yourself into a frenzy, Gran. Just relax and enjoy your day. We’re not going anywhere! But if we do, we’ll be back soon. Somebody has to make sure you’re behaving yourself. ;)

Thanks for the sympathy! LOL

But grannie, I used the same photo you posted, put it in PI, and saved it at 72 dpi. Yours must have started out WAY MORE THAN 72 DPI, because there is a HUGE difference in bytes in your original posted earlier here and in my copy of your original. :(

However, I didn't have a problem opening the pretty 'ship' photo you did from one of Cardhu's photographs. It was only about 88 kb. :)
