Is that a cemetery just back from the park and over toward North Mantua? If so, give my best to Aaron Olmstead, his son Franklin, George DePeyster, Bill Price, Josh Woodard, John Brown and last, but not least, Marvin Kent. According to yorkie's test, I might have known them all--especially those from Connecticut.
BTW, do you get to use the tennis courts at the high school or play the links at the club down the street very often?

those buried
Haven't played tennis for decades. I once was good (My humble opinion) but would make a total fool/ass of myself now.,
my knees were not able to handle a lot of these activities. Now I take 3 exedrins 4 times a day for antiinflamatory for knees/back

Hi Cardy,
Sorry, Couldn’t open this one. Some kind of import error. Got it down in 15 seconds, but no luck afterwards. Macintosh OSX.

I just tried it myself and got it down in 30 seconds with my miserable 3 megs and I opened it and it worked perfectly.
Must be the Mac OSX

You are very welcome, Amy. Sorry I'm just now 'getting here'.
Thanks for your compliments on the opening graphic/poem, and for such sweet and pretty posts, too!
Your cartoons were so cute, jaycee. Two Thumbs Up!

Love your holiday illustrations, Amy!

Ohhh, is that bougainvillea? Isn’t it gorgeous!
To: JustAmy
Well, I have to say that this is one of the most beautiful “Good Morning” graphics I’ve ever seen!

I "print screen" and then open a new palette in photoshop and paste in my "print screen", then I can crop and resize it and save it from there. It would probably also work the same with any other photo editing program. Seems like there should be a simpler way though, I've never done it any other way. That's the way I've always done it, too. Only, instead of opening a new palette (PhotoImpact Pro doesn't work in 'layers' the way photoshop does) - I just click on 'edit' and the "paste it as a new image", and crop, etc. from there. :)

Thank you, Billie.
Does the Hawaii Graphic look familiar?

Does the Hawaii Graphic look familiar? It does. I don't remember where or when 'we' used it though!

In talking about "memories" as part of our theme for today, I tried at least a half dozen times to upload the prettiest song about 'making memories', and it just never would 'take'. Sometimes I can upload an mp3, and other times it just breaks the connection before it finishes. So, instead of the mp3, here's a YouTube music video: (if you ignore the video and just listen to the music, it's much prettier.) :)
"Want to Make a Memory" ~ Bon Jovi
I do like videos of live concerts - but don't really care for all these artists' 'music videos' to promote their singles.

Okay, well, I thought maybe there was another, easier way of doing it. Also, when I said I open a new palette, I meant “canvas”, but I see you figured that out, Billie. :-) LOL
To: Billie
I think you made the graphic in 2005 for Amy’s Place. I sent the graphic to Fish Hawk and he wrote the poem.
You know I save almost everything .... just don’t always know where to find it. :)

I meant canvas, but I see you figured that out, Billie. :-) LOLYou know, I have never gotten the hang of using 'layers' the way PhotoShop does. I bought PhotoShop Elements several months ago, thinking it might have some features I miss in PhotoImpact, but the layer-thingie just escaped me, and I finally just uninstalled it.
It's actually a little funny in a way, because the first photo editing program I had that I thought was so neat was Adobe Photo Deluxe, and it, too, used layers. But it was so much more simple than Elements, and CERTAINLY lacking in comparison to PS!
