Lori, thank you for the awesome compliment. Sometimes, and you know exactly what I'm talking about, something - maybe even the smallest thing gives you an "Eureka!" moment, and you just go from there. :)
Majjie sent me the basic graphic of the baby in soft grey colors - only it had ugly text and stuff I had to remove before I could do what I wanted to it.
I think you probably also agree that poems and/or quotes are so much easier to find to fit a graphic than fitting a graphic to a particular poem. :)
Thank you again, sistah, for being my partner and friend all these years. :)

I made our reservations for dinner - filet mignon is their specialty. Wolfie, you may ignore. This was an old graphic. :)

One must sincerely consider the possibility that the person in that photo is not a female.

Wow! Three excellent Presentations in one day! (To what do we owe the honor?)
The Olympics one was great - gave a LOT of information about each sporting event;
The Roses For You was very touching - the words and music had a special meaning for me;
And, the Espana La Violetera showed some breath-taking scenes of Spain (plus the music was perfect!)
Again, thank you!

I just luv you! You add so much each day to the theme of things! Here you are with Annie Oakley and a few posts later you're giving us some Hitchcock! Thank you, OESY - it's always fun to see how much neat stuff you come up with!

Someone did pose as Annie Oakley once, but she was a woman:
In 1903, sensational cocaine prohibition stories were selling well. The newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst published a false story that Oakley had been arrested for stealing to support a cocaine habit. The woman actually arrested was a burlesque performer who told Chicago police that her name was “Annie Oakley”. The original Annie Oakley spent much of the next six years winning 54 of 55 libel lawsuits against newspapers. She collected less in judgments than were her legal expenses, but to her, a restored reputation justified the loss of time and money.
Most of the newspapers that printed the story had relied on wire services, and upon learning of the libelous error they immediately retracted the false story with apologies. Hearst, however, tried to avoid paying the anticipated court judgments of $15,000 ($300,000, adjusted for inflation) by sending an investigator to collect reputation-smearing gossip from Oakley's past. The investigator found nothing.
By all accounts Oakley was persuasive in the courtroom; she dressed conservatively, spoke courteously, and exuded respectability. When defense lawyers accused her of seeking publicity and charged her with immodesty on stage, Oakley almost always remained calm, denying that she ever appeared in “short skirts” or did “hand-springs” in her act. Pressed by one attorney on the subject of education, she said it was “a very good thing when backed by common sense, and a very bad thing in the head of a cheap lawyer.”

I enjoyed your story!
So there is no real pictures of Annie Oakley??
To: Billie
I did think it was similar to something you would do something with. I do have a beautiful one that I will post and I know you could do something beautiful with it. I’ll post it after while!
