Okay, did a little more looking around, there’s a site that thinks it’s viral campaign for a crytids television show on the Cartoon Network (”cryptidsarereal.com”). I’d lay my money on that.

Weird. They don’t give any size to the animal. I noticed that too. That is very odd.
I'm thinking it was used to train fighting dogs, maybe had its nose partially ripped off, and got dumped in the water to try to hide the crime. Makes me ill to think of it.

Not sure if they meant football or soccer.
