We know absolutely that stars existed before the earth. Most of the elements on earth were created in stars before the earth formed. The reason it formed was because of the gravitational attraction of the Sun which is also a star.
“We know absolutely...”????
Please help me with this one. I thought there were no absolutes? Also, I thought every thing was expressed scientifically as a theory? (Or, a hypothesis.)
After all, the purpose of evolution, and the accompanying eons upon eons of time theory, is to obscure religion with the pat response that given enough time everything we think happened happened. Ok, sorry, that was a cheap shot.
Look, there is no science that can prove absolutely that the stars preexisted the earth or that they preexisted 10,000 BC. Unless you can produce witnesses who saw the stars created before the earth you have only theory and hypotheses, not scientific proof.
You may be right about what you believe, though I doubt the ancient universe theories myself, but you need to understand that it is a belief, not a fact. It can never be fact. Your belief may be a fact, but the object of your belief is not and can never be, a provable, repeatable fact or condition. It is forever out of your grasp, I am sorry to say. No one has ever created a star, and science is not even decided on how stars were formed except in the very highest level of explanation which is tantamount to “somehow stuff came together and became a star.” When they use their “jargonator” powers, though, it sounds very certain and oh so very sophisticated, but it is not much more definitive than my playful vulgarization.
