You are not a failure because of not being as organized as the Duggars!!! I bet your kids have outside activities that take your time (drive them to a game, practice, lesson, Scout meeting, etc.) You may also work outside the home (thats a time eater right there) and you may not be using your teenage girls as a SWAT Team of Maids to keep your place in order...and maybe you do the majority of the cooking for your fam (again, major use of time)...so there...don't you feel better (I do!) you are probably doing 'more' than a mom of 17 :)

grants might be based on finances, but the scholarships I saw listed often required a look at grades and a thesis of some kind. it all depends on the kind of scholarship. there are tons from many different types of sponsors.

Yes and no. I was the very good friend of a child who was the 13th of 14 children. What I found was that the older ones continued to help the younger ones even into adulthood. Some of the older ones even while raising their own children, helped younger ones go to college, gave them a place to stay, found them jobs, etc. It was all very loving and a very, very close but large family. They rent a hall for Christmas. LOL

Frankly my dear I don't give a damn how I'm perceived by you and people like you. I can't imagine anyone I'd want to charm less then the little group of fertile womb worshippers on this thread. By all reports Bill Clinton is charming on a personal basis as is Obama, so if that's important to you, then maybe you should meet them and you would probably be charmed. This should be a forum of ideas not personalities, yet you and your ilk seem to want to turn it into a personal vendetta every time someone says something you don't like.
