USO?!? There wasn’t even an American Army back then, so how could there be any USOs? And I never found the USO to be starchy; just their security teams were starchy. Is this prof saying they were cannibals, and ate American troop entertainers? /s>

How about something like:

If they could get their teeth on it, they ate it. If it didn’t kill (or make them wish it had killed) them, they continued to eat it.

Besides USOs, they most likely also ate CMUs, (Carrion Meat Units) AGVOs, (Above Ground Vegetative Organs) UWMTs (Under Water Moving Thinggies), and ATETDETFs (Any Thing Else That Didn’t Eat Them First).

I am so lucky that as a sophomore some 40+ years ago I could see how political & PC Anthro already was,-—and gettng worse-—so changed my major.

The psychology behind this research is an attempt to “prove” that ancient humans lived mainly off the foods gathered by the women rather than those hunted down by the men.

In essence, it’s a projection into the far past of the ongoing effort to marginalize males in our own society.

I wish they wouldn’t substitute “humans” for hominins. Just a bit of propaganda. Pretty soon anything will be human.
