Those sound great, I’ve read books in one sitting too and that’s when you know that they’ve had a real impact on you. They all sound very appealing. Thank you for sharing!

I’ve read Gone With the Wind many times too. (I wish the ending was different) I’m a hopeless romantic.
The Buchanon book sounds very good too and a great author can do that, you know, make less “more.” Thank you!

If I’ve already replied to you I’m sorry. I seem to have my ping pages all mixed up :-)

A few of your choices were mentioned several times and they must be very good! Thank you!

Sounds like this book had a huge impact on you and I will read it. Someone just sent me the DVD “The Secret” and I haven’t watched it yet but maybe it might be something like that. Thank you!

If it is written by the veterans I would love to read it.

Totally serious question:

Is this something “new agey” or not?

It sounds intriguing but I don’t want to read about how my “chakras are all out of whack” or some such thing.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Thank you, they sound really absorbing. Everyone SURE has recommended great books and the list is still growing.
I read In Cold Blood too and really liked it. It’s funny how you get scared but like it, isn’t it? :-)

No problem but those Evanovich books are laugh out loud books and she usually comes out with a new book before I go on my summer vacation....great summer read......

It was a nice post....because everyone learns about new reads and I am so tired of reading about Obama.....he is news worthy but yours was a welcome break
