Apparently, the female half of a mating pair of turtles was recreationally slaughtered by some mutant, vile, diabolical, most probably inbred POS. Beach goers created a memorial and the male turtle made an extended visit to the site. I know that sounds like less than thrilling viewing, but I've got a soft spot for turtles so here ya go.
