I remember the very first South Park episode where Kyle was trying to get his little brother to jump from the alien spaceship and he told him to, “do your impersonation of David Caruso’s career” (This of course right after Caruso left NYPD Blue)
A bit over the top? It is so far over the top that you can see the sky below! That is why I watch it. He is hilarious. And The Soup captures him perfectly. I TiVo CSI Miami so I can play back the truly ludicrous over-acting bits several times the better to savor them.
